Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council Grant Opportunities

The Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council (LARAC) is accepting applications for grants for 2021, with funding available in three categories:

  • Program Support for Organizations
  • Individual Artists
  • Arts Education, In School K-12 and Community Based Learning

The LARAC has administered the NYSCA’s Decentralization Grant Program since 1999, allowing for over $1,300,000 in funding for artists and non-profits in Warren and Washington County, providing local residents and tourists with a variety of art and culture-based programming. The Adirondack Almanack

The Adirondack Almanack is a public forum dedicated to promoting and discussing current events, history, arts, nature and outdoor recreation and other topics of interest to the Adirondacks and its communities

We publish commentary and opinion pieces from voluntary contributors, as well as news updates and event notices from area organizations. Contributors include veteran local writers, historians, naturalists, and outdoor enthusiasts from around the Adirondack region. The information, views and opinions expressed by these various authors are not necessarily those of the Adirondack Almanack or its publisher, the Adirondack Explorer.
