Indian Lake, NY – On May 3, the Indian Lake Theater, a non-profit community theater, announced a grant award totaling $50,000 from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) to support the theater’s sign and marquee project. This grant is part of a record capital project funding announcement by NYSCA, which totals over $42 million to 144 capital projects across New York State.
BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE, NY—The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts (ALCA) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a grant of $295,000 from the New York State Council on
the Arts (NYSCA) for ALCA’s Adirondack (ADK) Quad-County Region Statewide Community Regrants (SCR) Program for fiscal year 2023. The award, which resulted from an application by ALCA staff members in NYSCA’s “Support for Partnerships” category, represents a greater-than-125% increase in the arts center’s current SCR funding of $130,000. In providing the grant, NYSCA approved 100% of ALCA’s request for the additional $165,000.
Lake Placid, NY – The Lake Placid Center for the Arts (LPCA), in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), will administer a large-scale, statewide regrant program focused on audience-building for the 2023/2024 presenting season.
Old Forge, NY – The Old Forge Library announced today a grant award totaling $80,000 over a 2-year period from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) to support the recovery of the nonprofit arts and culture sector. Following New York State’s historic investment for the arts, NYSCA has awarded $90 million since Spring 2022 to a record number of artists and organizations across the state.
WESTPORT, NY —The Depot Theatre in Westport, NY was recently awarded grants from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), Cloudsplitter Foundation, and Stewart’s Shops in support of artists, artists’ housing, and arts-in-education.
